Eversheds Sponsor Welsh Diversity Awards

Inclusive companies have signed up to support the inaugural Welsh Diversity Awards.

Charities and role models from across Wales will gather at Cardiff City Hall on 16th February 2018 for the nation’s largest celebration of diversity.

The best of Welsh diversity will unite to showcase the outstanding achievements of those who have demonstrated their devotion to enhancing equality, diversity and inclusion in today’s society.

International law firm Eversheds Sutherland are just one of the brands supporting a host of diverse talent. A spokesperson for the organisation commented;

“Eversheds Sutherland is very proud to be a sponsor of The Welsh Diversity Awards.  For us diversity and inclusion means accessing the vast talent we have in our global workforce, including of course our team of 480 people in our Cardiff office.

We do this by embracing our similarities and building innovative solutions based on our differences. These similarities and differences exist not only on race, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation and faith but also on social and educational background, nationality, marital status and family or care responsibilities.

Appreciating diversity means demonstrably valuing each of these unique perspectives and recognizing the insight that each person brings to our practice. We are delighted to support these awards which recognise and celebrate outstanding work in this way”.

Bought to you by the Diversity Group and The National Diversity Awards, Paul Sesay, CEO & Founder of the Welsh Diversity Awards added;

“Eversheds Sutherland are recognised as an inclusive employer and it is clear they pro-actively and continuously enhance their knowledge in this area to create an inspirational working environment for their employees.

We are absolutely delighted to have them cement their commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion by supporting the Welsh Diversity Awards, and know their involvement is crucial to showcasing highlighting vital work in the diversity arena across Wales”.
